Any Sig p226 owners?
Sorry for the odd title. Im just wondering if there are any members who own these weapons. I have 3 mags for a sig p226 in decent condition I have NO need for at all and want to get rid of them(i also have three for an mp5).
Anyone have any interest?(will get pics in the morning) EDIT: NOW WITH PICS! I should change the description of "decent condition" to slightly rusty ;). Its not much and can be easily removed but im sure that effects the value a bit. http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...k/100_1034.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...k/100_1035.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...k/100_1029.jpg |
Re: Any Sig p226 owners?
If they are actual Sig mags, they are probably worth about $40 - $60 a piece. Since so many sig p6's came on the market in the last year, there is a huge demand for those mags, which are no longer made by Sig.
If they are Promags, they arent worth much at all. |

I've seen many of the Sig mags at the gun shows. I paid $32.95 "226 9MM 15RD BLUE UNMARKED FACTORY SIG MAG MAGOH SIG" |

I am pretty sure these will work in my P228. Can anybody verify this? How much are the Sig mags? Thanks.

Re: Any Sig p226 owners?
Brand New Mec-Gar MFG 226 9mm 18 round anti-friction mag $24.99
Meggar probably makes Sigs factory mags, like they do for many large arms manufactors http://www.cdnninvestments.com/2269mm18anma.html Appears they have lots to sell. Check: http://www.cdnninvestments.com/sigsauer.html As to your question on value, they are worth whatever someone will pay for it. Better yet, get a 226 or 228, since you already have the mags. |
Re: Any Sig p226 owners?
What caliber? I have a P226 in .357-sig.

As for the other gentlemant suggestion, I would LOVE to get sig, but unfortunatley dont have that kind of cash. :( |
Re: Any Sig p226 owners?
IIRC MecGar is the current manufacturer for SiG. The difference was pretty obvious to me, W. German mags were smooth op, the new stuff kinda "crunchy". Both work, though.
------- Kinda nice having real rifling in a hicap 9. |
